This game not only requires memory skills, but also some general brain work: The erasing and condemnation of female-read genitalia is deeply ingrained in the human mind and an expression of the structural disadvantages of women and gender non-conforming persons in a patriarchal society.




PUSSY PAIRS aka Mumury makes the topic "Vulva" visible, normalizes it, contributes to dissolving prevailing myths and taboos and promotes a dialogue about where the origins of possible aesthetic doubts and paralyzing shame lie, and how the female* genital is handled in society. Silence is not the solution, as it prevents those affected from pointing out injustice, reporting assaults and demanding the respectful, sexually fulfilling or even medical treatment they are entitled to, even in a larger context. Away from heteronomy and objectification through the male gaze, towards self-love and sexual autonomy.
